Surface drainage with geotextiles. A call for experimentation

Attention is called to possible interest in using surface drainage with geotextiles instead open-channel drainage in some cases.
The mechanism of drainage above groundwater level is recalled.
Some solutions of drainage with geotextiles are analysed, which clearly point to the importance of further experimentation.
