Abstract

Special land-use plans are an important territorial management tool aimed at areas of environmental significance. This brief article focuses on identifying certain aspects of their legal framework, analyzing points related to their typology, and examining the state of the art—that is, the current status of their implementation on the ground—with particular emphasis on the management plans for protected areas.
