Thinking about sustainable cities means being aware of their shortcomings and excesses, both of which affect the quality of life in urban areas. This article discusses public policies (both European and national) regarding urban road passenger transport, aiming to contribute to the socio-legal debate on this topic around building a model of urban mobility that requires a shift in current behaviours, values, and paradigms.
