Abstract

We take this opportunity, following the publication of the very recent Decree-Law No. 29/2006 of 15 February, which establishes the general framework for the organization and operation of the national electricity system (SEN), as well as for the exercise of electricity generation, transmission, distribution, and commercialization activities and the organization of electricity markets, to examine whether any changes have been introduced in the scope of electricity production from renewable energy sources (RES).
