Narrativas Memescape dos Movimentos Sociais Romenos (2013-2021): Uma perspetiva da Teoria do Enquadramento

Na era digital, os movimentos sociais aproveitam cada vez mais os memes para moldar narrativas e mobilizar apoio. Este estudo examina os movimentos sociais romenos através das lentes dos memes de 2013 a 2021, concentrando-se na campanha Save Roșia Montană, nos protestos contra incêndios nas discotecas Colectiv, no movimento #REZIST e nos protestos anti-restrições. Os dados foram coletados de páginas populares de memes romenos do Facebook e de outras plataformas online. Ao aplicar a teoria do enquadramento, procuramos descobrir como os memes identificam problemas, atribuem culpas, propõem soluções e motivam a participação. As nossas descobertas revelam que os memes romenos frequentemente criticam o ativismo digital como superficial, remixam imagens culturais convencionais e usam a sátira para desafiar narrativas dominantes. O estudo sublinha o potencial dos memes para refletir e influenciar o discurso público e os debates sociopolíticos na Roménia.
