It sometimes happens that dance meets philosophy, because both are movements and thoughts of the body. They have have in common that they only unfold within and through the limit. To live “on the borders” is to reach the limits and never go beyond them. And whoever would like to fly will be crushed by a heaviness that he will have been wrong to refuse. This text, staged by the students of the contemporary dance conservatory of Tours (under the direction of Valerie de Mortillet, dance teacher), represents what the thought wanted to show for so long. We will thus associate the image with the reflection, to see precisely what is involved in the weight of our humanity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8NIvz24YBU
