The article reviews most of the occurrences or citations of the texts of the Coimbra Jesuits (Fonseca, Góis, Couto and Álvares) in the Lexicon Philosophicum (1613) by Rudolph Göckel with the purpose to pursue a larger research project on the reception of the Coimbra school by the school of Marburg. It confirms that Göckel´s contact with Fonseca’s and Góis’s text is impressive and seems to indicate that Fonseca’s privilege does not depend on his metaphysical issues.
