The aim of this paper is to reflect, in the context of an investigation on rationality, on what could be something such as a hermeneutical dialectics and to mention some of its traits and domains of application. The paper analyzes the concepts of dialectics and hermeneutics, presenting the strong version of dialectics such as it appears in Hegel and showing in which way, from a reading of ricœurian hermeneutics, it is possible to grasp the specificity of hermeneutical dialectics and how it can expand the notion of rationality.
