Philosopher of ethics (of otherness) rethought in terms of meta‑ ethics, Emmanuel Lévinas is often accused of forgetting the political – this text tries to demonstrate that the meta‑ ontological rethinking of philosophical ethics by Lévinas also implies a rethinking of the political and of the instituted in general from the unconditional primacy of “meta‑ ethics” or “justice”.
