Abstract

Theoria is looked as an attitude of the philosopher and not so much as the hypothetical construct that organizes knowledge and ideas. We follow the main meaning of the greek root, stressing the importance and convenience of a prudent and serene «vision» of the possible scenery of the fi eld of our activity, in order to avoid alienation. Man is considered as an erratic desire clearing his own paths, prone to admiration and sensitiveness to get surprised. One of the roles of theoria is to grant a positive look over whatever adventures we embark on, producing a «philosophizing education», adverse to reductionisms and able to choreograph life itself. In that way, we can collect the whole energy of our paths through time with a questioning attitude. Methodologically, this article evolves like «philosophical variations» on a theme of Aristotle and other thinkers.
