Abstract

The purpose of this article is to show that adult education is substantially tied with the concept of intervention and the practices it inspires, which are historical constituents of its identity. To argue this point of view, we use a diachronic approach, trying to identify the objects of intervention that are successfully chosen by the trainers of adults.
