Abstract

This article is the result of an investigation that seeks to analyze the perceptions of a technical - pedagogical team of an extinct New Opportunities Centre (CNO) on the changes resulting from the passage of a period marked by the New Opportunities Initiative (INO) to a time of transition in education policies that implemented the Centers for Training and Professional Education (CQEP).
This exploratory qualitative study was conducted among eight “professionals” of a CQEP of the northern Portugal, using as technique the interview survey. The results allow us to conclude, among other things, that the majority of respondents did not agree with the change that occurred between the INO and the Measure Active Life, considering it as economist and that did not solve the key issues to improve the INO and its centres.
