Abstract

We propose a reflection about the systemic action in the school system, the importance of promoting a collaborative context, and the principles which make it possible – the map is not the territory, to use the other’s language, to enhance the strengths and positive features, to endorse the quality of communication, to prevent the repetition of bad solutions in difficult situations, to broaden the observation field, and to be empathic. We also defend that such principles, besides promoting a collaborative environment, also contribute to the development of social and emotional skills and to the development of the school’s sense of identity.
