Abstract

This article presents a reflection on the experience of young adolescents at school and their digital literacy and how their ability to use technology represents a challenge to educational institutions. The concept of digital literacy will be discussed as a social practice with the results presented in an empirical study in two distinct practical contexts: the Educational Institute and Internet cafés.
