Abstract

Environmental science is the systematic study of the environment and Environmental health is the study of the environment related to human health. The role of the environmental professionals is to monitor the environment; public health professionals’ role is to establish causal relations between environmental exposures and human health.

The Author discusses the modern concept of health.

The Author characterizes the process of risk assessment and management and stresses the importance of risk communication as an instrument of risk management.
