Abstract

Mass movements are natural phenomena of slope evolution, but can represent great risks. The study area is in the northern coast of São Paulo State, Brazil. The aim of this article is to characterize macro-morphologically the slopes, besides to present its chemical and mineralogical routine analysis. Profiles are thick and have pedological variation.

Chemical analysis showed high levels of aluminum and hydrogen.
