Abstract

Precipitation variations in the hydrographic basin of the Mundaú river were studied using the rainfall anomaly index (RAI) and the wavelet analysis. The results showed that the El Niño-Southern Oscillation related interannual variability and the decadal variability influenced the local rainfall variability.
