Abstract

The objective of this research was to outline the environmental risks for Santo Anastacio River Resource, while supporting participative planning and mobilization activities related to the creation of a Water Protection and Resource Recovery Area there. Holding public meetings for environmental risk mapping, field work and literature search, it was possible to notice the great number of risk situations in this sector of the basin, which may become further aggravated, if preventive and corrective actions are not duly carried out
