Physical characterization and sociocultural analysis of flood risk associated with the Canal del Dique, Colombia

Abstract

Physical analyzes articulated with a sociocultural perspective allows to enrich research and risk scenarios of disaster from geohistorical and comprehensive approach which provides key features for risk management, to demonstrate the long-term dislocations dynamics between natural and cultural processes. The research was based on the use of tools and techniques of geology, paleogeography and ethnography.
