The evolution of the concept of risk in the light of the natural and social sciences

This article aims to develop a short review about the evolution of the concept of risk, take as a precursor to global theory brought up by Ulrich Beck and Anthony Giddens. The concept of risk has different meanings in the social andnatural sciences. However, involved by urgent environmental issue, the concept has been improved over time. Thus, it is understood to be important to rescue its trajectory under different scientific approaches, in order to understand its developments in current and future days.
