The transfers of the São Francisco river are a series of works under the responsibility of the Ministry of Integration of Brazil, scheduled for inauguration in 2015, which aims to reduce the drought problems in in the Northeast region of the country. During the course of the works, rural people had to be relocated and were subjected to a series of social risks which require further analysis.
