From the Corgo gully study, located on the right bank of the Alva river, downstream from Penalva do Alva and in front of Caldas de São Paulo, Oliveira do Hospital (Central Portugal), it is intended to analyze the main factors that led to its genesis, and thus, contribute to the knowledge of one of the erosive processes that contributes most to the development of slopes, such as the ravines.
