In these papers we analyse the most important aspects of air pollution in Madrid:
- The variations between summer and winter, between the beginning ofthe week and the week-end, and those observed during the day;
- The areas of contamination, with high pollution zones in the city center and medium to low levels on the outskirts and near forest areas;
- The existence of days with critical pollution levels, especially in winter and during periods of very stable weather conditions.
