Precipitation and wind as urban climate risks: the case of Madrid

Rain, beyond a certain intensity, and wind, beyond a certain velocity, can be considered climatic risks. In this paper, the Authors present crisis situations in Madrid related with rain and wind in the years 1990-1993 and analyse a case study- the crisis occurred with the storm of the 24th June 1995.
