The article aims to highlight the feeling of uncertainty and existential disturbance of Vittorio Sereni di Frontiera. The dissertation starts from the use that the poet makes of natural elements in the first collection of his poems to exemplify, through the reading of Inverno, the opening poem of the collection, how the “fog” concretizes a vague feeling of foreseen events but not yet experienced, nor clearly seen.
