The lexemes “conflictual” and “conflict” portray contemporary European geopolitics, where fears related to potential known and unknown risks proliferate. This article intends to be a reflection on current migration, in which the themes of identity, conflict, social risk and waiting in a migration territory. An analysis of the visual content of the film “Samba” (2014) by Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache will be carried out, as it is a work that portrays the dimension of reterritorialization and identity, in a logic of omnipresent conflict in(s) everyday life(ies) of the protagonist, a young Senegalese immigrant. It is about discussing the perspective of identities, cultures, and territories in conflict.
