The notion of Medium suggests a movement of directional connection between two poles that want to be related. The same movement is sought in this article, tracing an itinerary that goes from the textual phenomenon to its symbolic composition, to return to the Text aware of its constituent structure. Recognising the limits of the linguistic proposal in relation to the Concrete Text, the direction will be traced through its semiotic understanding, paying attention to the minimum unit that constitutes textual remediation: the sign. From Charles Sanders Peirce to Max Bense, the path underpins the concretist proposal from the semiotic analysis of the medial reconfigurations of the signic fabric.
