The aim of this article is to analyse the editorial decision of Mário Cláudio, the biographer and owner of Tiago Veiga's estate, to publish Dezassette Sonetos Eroóticos e Fesceninos, two decades after the poet's death, from the perspective of creative mediation between literary practices from Latin antiquity and similar themes worked on by the biographer.
