The present issue of Biblos. Revista da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Coimbra, which is the 7th of its 3rd series, presents a set of contributions dedicated to the topic of Dissidências. Dissidence is understood as a very broad spectrum of attitudes, opinions and behaviours, linked to conceptual, emotional or performance disagreement with an established norm. The resulting confrontations propel a dynamic that is as instigating, due to the acuity of the questions posed, as it is complex, due to the dialectical plurality of the factors involved.
