A necrópole romana do Torrejão (Quintos, Beja) – primeiros dados

Abstract

This text proposes to disseminate the first data related to preventive archaeological intervention carried out in the necropolis of Torrejão (Quintos, Beja), identified in the scope of the Project Circuito Hidraúlico Baleizão-Quintos, promoted by EDIA, in 2014/15. In the area, partially intervened, 14 burial graves were excavated, most of which contained votive estate. In total, the recovered set corresponds, chronologically, between the end of the 2nd century A.C. and the 3rd century A.C.
