In this paper we present the results of the archaeological excavation of a house of the Late Medieval and Modern periods located in a rural context in the municipality of Aljaraque (Huelva). A general evaluation of the space and constructive technology of the house leads us to think that this one had a Late Mediaeval foundation, possibly in the 14th century, remaining inhabited until mid 16th century of the Modern Age, when it was abandoned. The ceramics present a conviviality between the late mediaeval Islamic tradition, well-known in nearby settlements such as Shaltish/ Saltés (near Huelva), and the Loza Morisca (majolica ware) typical of Andalusian Modern Age. Among these, a very homogenous set of ceramic pieces dating from the beginning of the 15th century until mid 16th century has been identified.
