The conventus Asturum is the largest of the three convents in the northwest of Hispania and includes various territories, all very different in terms of their landscape and economic activities but with a common denominator, which is the ethnic identity of all its inhabitants, who are Astures. In this large conventus, more than 1,600 Roman inscriptions have been found to date and there is evidence of many different officinae that produced these monuments. The text deals with the limits of the conventus and shows some unique elements of this epigraphic collection.
