This paper presents an unpublished nota lapidaria on a torcularium piece and reflects on prosopographical aspects of a recently published funerary inscription. Both texts come from Roman cities in the Vasconic área, both classified as parua oppida, small towns that were notably monumentalised before their flavian promotion, namely Los Bañales de Uncastillo (Zaragoza) and Santa Criz de Eslava (Navarra). With regard to the information provided by both tituli, some reflections on the economic resources of these communities are also commented.
