Salacia and the elites of Lusitania

Abstract

The Roman epigraphic documents reveal that the high society of the Roman city of Salacia had an important relation “ economic, political, cultural “ with the provincial capital Augusta Emerita, with Rome and, also, with the oriental part of the Roman Empire.
