Os mais antigos vestígios humanos na costa sudoeste: o corte de Porto Covo (Sines)

Abstract

The geological section of Porto Covo, one of the most important of Pleistocene age of the Portuguese coast is revisited. A remarkable lithic artifact, collected in situ, as well as the minimal absolute chronology of the sedimentary sequence based on the results of TL determinations are published. These results reinforce the conclusions previously obtained by strictly geological criteria.
