Abstract

We have found a new dolmen that today remains unpublished. The dolmen is located in a spot (Sierra de la Peña del Hombre) of the municipality of Almonaster la Real, in the Sierra de Huelva, but very close to the mining basin, in a small elevation along the course of the Odiel river, near the mining village of Mina Concepcion. It only conserves four granite orthostats on surface, perfectly visible and identifiable. Its shape and layout, contiguous, seems to show that it is a gallery dolmen, similar to those found in the area a few kilometers from the place, in the site of the Azulejos of Santa Ana la Real (Huelva) or Next to the reservoir of the Odiel (Aracena).
