Forest Legal Regime: The Assertion of a Resource

Abstract

The study of the forest legal regime is undertaken in this article from a plural perspective, aiming to discuss its main aspects, which are frequently raised in specialised circles and the media, but which have not, to the same extent, been addressed in national doctrine. The article highlights the specific characteristics of the forest legal asset that determine the need for an integrated approach and examines the legal framework afforded to it, focusing the analysis on the international, Community, and national levels of relevance to this issue.
