Abstract

Renowned for their extensive experience in environmental matters, particularly through their association with prestigious entities such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Geological Survey, the coordinators of this work invited some of the foremost American experts to seek answers to the challenge of natural resource management. Their aim is to promote social and environmental resilience of territories within the context of existing legislation and institutions.
