Intergenerational justice issues have been attracting the attention of philosophers and political thinkers for centuries. However, it was in the last decades of the 20th century and the beginning of this new century that the topic became the focus of in-depth theoretical analysis by various authors, as well as appearing concretely in a range of practical matters. Today, concerns about ethics between generations are everywhere, from the need to combat global warming and other environmental issues to ensuring funds for future pensions.
