Archaeological Heritage Legislation and Its Evolution

Archaeological heritage constitutes one of the relatively specialized sectors of cultural heritage. This has been reflected in the corresponding legal framework, which has always included specific legislation, particularly regarding archaeological work. This paper aims to provide an overview of archaeological heritage legislation, taking into account its evolution over time.
