At a time when there is a call for the need to integrate the issue of risks into territorial management instruments, it becomes particularly relevant to determine how these have been addressing it. This text aims to present the way in which this issue was addressed within the framework of the preparation of the Regional Spatial Planning Plan for the Centre, which puts forward a model that highlights prevention, reduction, and mitigation of risks as the path to follow in land use and occupation.
