Abstract

Having established the program for the Amphitheatre of the Faculty of Law at the University of Coimbra, its location, and the archaeological constraints to be observed, we conducted a careful survey of the existing open and built spaces with regard to their functional, aesthetic, heritage, and landscape aspects, and developed a preliminary solution which, subsequently refined into the Execution Project, is presented here.
