The legal situation presented and analyzed in this dossier arises from a subdivision operation carried out on the former CIMPOR lands in Buarcos (facing EN109-8, west of the Buarcos cemetery), requested by Sociedade Imobiliária de Buarcos, Lda, and authorized under License No. 10/97, issued by the Figueira da Foz City Council on December 11, 1997.
This is a subdivision operation covering an area of 25.495 ha, consisting of 191 plots, with a total built-up area of 44,001.7 m², a total commercial and equipment area of 7,090.0 m², a total residential area of 86,910.0 m², a total hotel area of 6,000 m², and 737 housing units.
