Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- Papers should be submitted via the Open Journal System (OJS) platform.

Originality of the Article //
Manuscripts submitted to Media & Journalism must be original and unpublished. Submission implies that the manuscript has not been previously published, in whole or in part, in any language, nor is it under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Statement on the Use of Artificial Intelligence //
In line with the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics, authors must clearly indicate if they have used any Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools or applications in the preparation, analysis, or revision of their manuscript. This declaration should be included in the Comments for the Editor at the time of submission. - Submitted files should be in Word format (.doc, .docx), OpenOffice/LibreOffice (.odf) or RichText Format (.rtf), and cannot be over 2 MB.
- The submission must follow the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in "Instructions for Authors".

Copyright Notice
Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows sharing the work with recognition of authorship and initial publication in Antropologia Portuguesa journal.
Privacy Statement
The names and contacts provided to the journal will only be used to contact authors during the publishing process, and will not be used to any other purposes nor made available to third parties.
Data protection
Personal information regarding members or visitors of the website will be treated in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.
