The revolutionary break in media and the “delay effect” on communication theories

The autonomy of the journalistic field in Portugal was in the period from 1974‑1975 an important milestone, with the abolition of state censorship. In this article, the strategies towards the media and the journalistic field are interpreted through the media theories and the concept called “delay effect” (Neveu).
