Islam and islamic fundamentalism in the political context

Islam is the youngest of the three monotheistic Abrahamic religions and currently congregates around 1 800 000 believers. Frequently, it has been associated with fundamentalism. In this text, we will distinguish between Islam and Islamic fundamentalism and we will see how this resentment ideology has sought to assert itself on the national and international arenas.
