A violência como factor de vulnerabilidade segundo os adolescentes: estudo em contexto escolar

Abstract

This study aimed to understand how adolescent students perceive violence in its different forms and expressions and to what extent these dimensions are perceived as vulnerability factors. This is a qualitative study and data were collected through semi-structured interviews with adolescents aged 12 to 18 years. Data were analyzed through content thematic based on dialectical-hermeneutical principles. Social violence, specifically youth delinquency, in the community and at school, is appointed as a vulnerability factor, which lead us to the conclusion that to impede its (re)production, social-political measures should aim at the challenge of exposing it; try to better understand its process of production and train compromised professionals to cope with it.
