Professionalism in education raises specific questions different from other fields, since the responsibility for education is shared with other personal and social agents. However, education professionals share with other professionals in a number of characteristic notes, although some take specific dimensions. In his analysis interesting conclusions can be inferred for the present and future of educational professionalism. The paper also examines the specificity of the professional skills of teachers as the most representative group of education professionals.Downloads
