Caracterización y usos de los molinos rotatorios romanos en las cetariae del Estrecho de Gibraltar

Abstract

We present preliminary results of the archaeometric study of some Roman rotary querns documented in fishing environments of the area of the Strait of Gibraltar, as well as the results obtained from the sampling of the active surface of the millstones. Archaeometric techniques have allowed us to confirm the presence of different types of remains, mainly ichthyofauna.
