In 1984, during an emergency excavation in Rua das Alcaçarias in Faro, eight graves were identified from the large Roman necropolis to the north of the city of Ossonoba. Among the abundant artifacts collected was a funerary tombstone whose inscription could not be fully read due to its degree of wear. This text presents the complete reading of this inscription made possible by the application of the Morphological Residue Model developed by Hugo Pires. It is a curious and simple funerary tombstone belonging to an Ossonoban woman who made it while she was still alive.
